Easter Sunday Best

One of the many great things about Easter Sunday has to be the official ‘OK’ to break out the springiest items in your wardrobe! From seersucker to all-out pastels, the style game has officially been changed. I was so excited to break out this gorgeous dress from Ruthie Grace Boutique today for all of the Easter festivities! It has a gorgeous ostrich feather detail around the waist which adds a sassy touch that is still church-appropriate. I paired it with some of my favorite pieces of jewelry I’ve received in my Rocksbox, like this Loren Hope cuff and these Kendra Scott earrings.

Beyond everything that is so fun about celebrating Easter, it’s so important to never forget the reason that it exists in the first place! Before anything else, today represents not only the ultimate sacrifice paid by Jesus to save us from our sins, but Him literally beating death, so that anyone who lives in Him is granted eternal life. (And He really does mean anyone!) How amazing is that?

Matthew 28:5-9

But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.”

So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.

And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

He is risen!

Resort Style with Pink Lily

The last look of my resort style series from spring break includes two of my favorite trends of this spring: bell sleeves and a blue-and-white combo. This light and flowy dress from The Pink Lily Boutique (who is basically Pinterest famous, I might add) is the perfect vacation dress, in my opinion. What’s better? It costs less than $50. I paired this dress with a beaded horn necklace that I picked up from Soca Clothing, as well as this all-in-one clutch from GiGi New York that goes with everything.

I guess since it has been a week already…this means my spring break is officially over. I’ve so enjoyed sharing some of my resort-ready looks with all of you, and hopefully I’ll have more travel posts headed your way soon!

Looking at you, graduation.

Happy travels!

Resort Style With Taudrey

You know what they say: “If it’s not moving, monogram it.” True to my southern roots, I can’t help but be a fan of personalizing accessories to make them unique to my wardrobe. However, I think there’s a more tasteful way to go about it than plastering every inanimate object you own with hot pink bows and chevron print. Enter, Taudrey, who gets it right every time. This personalized jewelry company, based out of Florida, understands the need for pieces of jewelry to feel unique to you, but rather follows the “less is more” rule.

*Breathes a sigh of relief*

I packed some of my favorite Taudrey pieces along with me on my vacation to Old Edwards Inn, both old favorites and new arrivals I couldn’t wait to get my hands on. I paired these personalized pieces with this convertible black romper from Nordstrom, and a patent leather Jimmy Choo wallet I picked up a few years ago (find a similar style here)!

Let me just have a moment here.

First of all, this romper is only $38. Second of all, how it is styled is totally up to you. The straps that you see are actually a mile long, and can be criss-crossed and twisted any way your heart desires. The packaging has photo examples of about 15 different ways you can wear it. This is a staple piece that you’ll be able to wear for all occasions for seasons to come. With Nordstrom’s free shipping and free returns policy, I can’t think of any good reason not to buy it!

Resort Style With Bungalow 123

Happy Saturday, y’all! Over the next few days, I’m going to be sharing a few of my favorite resort-wear looks from my spring break trip to Old Edwards Inn. Truth be told, I’m not quite ready to admit that my vacation is over, so this is the perfect opportunity to savor it just a little bit longer.

Everything in this look is under $45, with the exception of this gorgeous and totally splurge-worthy tusk necklace. You know you’ve been eyeing one! This precious swing dress was perfect for the weather we experienced in Highlands. It’s breezy and lightweight, so it was perfect for being in the sun, but its long sleeves were my saving grace when a breeze picked up. This tassel clutch and metallic wedge espadrilles (which are sure to be on repeat this entire season!) added the perfect touch of fun to bring this look to life.

You can find most of the pieces in this look from Bungalow 123, one of my favorite online boutiques! Snag my monogrammed bracelet (under $40!) right here!

Have a great weekend, everyone!
